The Fisherman, The Fish and some Ice Cream!!!

Well my dear friend Theresa came over last weekend to scrap and we were both rather productive.  It seems like I start alot of blog posts that way, but she comes over often and I love it.  Anyway,  I did this  2-pager for Get Picky.
I've recently felt a renewed love for 2-page layouts.  I still don't enjoy them as much as single pagers but with a good sketch they can be a lot of fun and sometimes the pictures just require it.  The pp is Little Yellow Bicycle from my March Artful Delights Kit. Actually everything is from the kit except for the wood grain stickers around the edge.  These are also from the Little Yellow Bicycle Twig line but I bought them at the LSS.  Pictures are of Gavin from Halloween 2008.  He wanted to be a fisherman and wasn't he cute!

And now for the grumpy little fish.  Sketch is from Sketchy Thursdays
This was Marin's first Halloween again in 2008.  She was in such a bad mood for pictures and look how bald she was!  She's almost 3 now and her hair is still baby fine.  Okay, back to the fish, the pp is Cosmo Cricket and I'm too lazy to get up and look at what line, but it's an older one I've been hoarding.  The flowers are Making Memories and American Crafts and the frame and rub-ons are MME.

There is a new sketch reveal today over at Let's Scrap and again some yummy goodies that you can win.  Here is my take on the sketch.
These pictures are of Gavin from 2007.  I really can't believe I haven't scrapped them prior to this because they're so dang cute.  I think the pictures were just waiting for the right paper and this Nikki Sivils line is just perfect!!!

And lastly don't forget this months challenge over at Scrapbookers Anonymous!  You need to use at least 7 store bought flowers, not home made ones, something from your stash!!!

Thanks for looking everyone!!!

All great layouts! I love 2-page layouts because I can use such a variety of photos and still have room for paper and embellishments and using up all my stash!

You are very productive these days !! You lay outs are all lovely. My little girl didn't have any hair neither until she was about 4. She is 8 now and her hair is just growing to a long bob !! Still, easier to look after !!

Lea: All of them are gorgeous layouts. Love everything from all of them!!! You have grown as a scrapper. Love your style.

Thanks for commenting at my blog today. I smiled with the mention of the chipboard piece. It came from a Fancy Pants 12X12 chipboard piece.I remember they were hot around 2004, 2005. Now that I cannot use my Cricut for making circles ,(need to buy a mat) they are being very useful, lots of big shapes that can be covered with patterned paper. Just Scrapbookers Anonymous Addicts could recognize that! LOL!!!

Hey Lea :)
Glad to hear you liked the movie Paul, it really was funny ;)
I tried to send you an email, don't know if you got it? If you'd like I can get you a copy of that cupcake mags and send it to you? I think it's only sold in Canada cause I only see one price on the cover, no usa price. So let me know, it would be my pleasure to do it.
