Just Some Stuff!

Hi all. Well I'm still recovering from the scrapbooking retreat.  I completed 15 layouts total but it was exhausting.  Like I said earlier, those things aren't about sleep!  Today I'm home with a sick little boy.  Poor guy, he's just laying around and not talking much.  The not talking is a huge indication that he's not feeling well because Gavin is a chatter box.  Well it's Wednesday which means there's a new sketch posted over at Let's Scrap.  Let's Scrap seriously had the best 2 page layouts out there.  I actually made a 2 pager with this sketch but I have a picture on the right half of Gavin's swim trunks hanging kind of low and the top of his little bum is showing.  It's a great picture but thought it best not to post it.
Go to Let's Scrap to check out this weeks sketch and see the lovely Etsy winnings!!!

And here's another layout I did at the retreat.  I used the new BoBunny Gabriel line.  The layout is for the LSS so I did my best not to use items that may not be found there.  And I didn't have access to any of the extras that came with the line so it was a bit of a struggle.  I distressed it and ripped it so that it didn't seem too simple.  And of course I didn't want to cover up the beautiful butterflies!!!
I still have more to post from last weekend but all in due time :).

The lovely Tiffany gave me the Liebster Blog Award.

As a recipient of this award there are a few "rules" I have to follow; I have to share the love and pay it forward by:

1.Creating a post where I blog about the Liebster award and reveal my 3-5 blog picks
2.Let them know they've been chosen
3.Copy and paste the blog award on my blog
4.Have faith that my followers will rally and show their crafty love back out to those I awarded
5.Have fun!

So many blogs to choose from but I chose 3 of my faves.

1. Theresa, my BFF and the one who got me into blogging (after much persistence)
2. Deb, one of the first people who started giving me some blog love.  I so appreciate her comments and her awesome creations!!!
3.  Nadia, I'm a new follower to her blog but her work is mind boggling GORGEOUS!!!  So much talent.  She doesn't have many followers yet so please go check out her work and give her some love!!!

Actually, please go check out all the blogs above and see their awesome creations.  Tell them that I say hi!

Lastly, I just wanted to remind all of you of this months challenge over at Scrapbookers Anonymous.  Use at least 7 pre-made flowers from your stash... you know the ones... you just had to have them at one time, never used them, and now they're being overlooked by those lovely newer flowers.  Link up your layout by the end of the month and you could win some awesome goodies!!!

Fantastic work, Lea! lol...Gavin's bum. He'll thank you later for not posting that page online. The scalloped strip of paper and all the cute circles truly symbolize summer fun.
Your 2nd layout brought a huge smile to my face. Lovely butterfly patterned paper and I love how you worked the colors throughout. And Marin.....awwwwww.....I just love this picture. Too too cute! I love how she accessorized! So glad you captured that moment.
Lea, Thank you so much for my award...garsh...I'm really honored. Thank you so much for all the comments you have given me. It really means a lot.

Awesome work Lea!! Just LOVE the first one with all the circles!! (don't know why but at the moment I can't seem to make a LO without circles... They have to be on it, otherwise it's not finished... must be in my "circles phase" I guess)
Hope your boy is feeling better by now!!
