Wow...

Wow, it's been so long since I've made a post that blogger has completely changed... kind of intimidating.  I needed a little scrapbooking and blogging break as we've had a crazy busy spring, and now I'm so excited to be digging back into my favorite hobby. :)
I have 2 layouts to share that were actually made back in May on NSD.
This first one is totally scraplifted from the book Art of Layers by Ronda Palazzari.  Great book with lots of fun ideas.  I especially liked this one because it uses a lot of paper and don't we all have a lot of paper!
(Cocoa Daisy March kit)

With this next one, I felt like playing with a stencil so I decided to water color it.  Overall I like it but it sure made the paper hard to work with.  Lots of bubbles and wrinkles, which I tried to just embrace by adding some wrinkled washi. Oh and look at that picture, I can't believe I even captured this fleeting moment! :)
(Stencil- Crafters Workshop, Julie Balzer)
(Basic Grey Bloomers)
(some Crate, MME, AC, Bella Blvd, and Tim Holtz)

The one thing I think I'll change on both these layouts is more twine!  Why am I being so stingy with it really!?!

And... I made some cards as an end of the year gift for Gavin's teacher.

(Paper scraps Bella Blvd and Echo Park)
(Stamps- Lawn Fawn)

Bright colors, lots of fussy cutting and quite a bit of Copic-ing here.  I'm really starting to LOVE my Copics.

And I have one bit of news to share... lets see how many of you actually read to the bottom of this? :)
The biggest reason for my blogging and scrappin' break has been due to pregnancy (yay).  This pregnancy was intentional but a bit insane, as last summer we got rid of the bulk of the baby gear... and babies require a lot of gear.  But this winter, the DH and I had a change of heart and thought if this baby is meant to be, it will happen... and it did... immediately. :)  I've been exhausted, I swear the baby just sucks all energy out of me, especially in the beginning.  So staying up late to scrap or getting up early to blog has been... laughable.  Now I'm at 14 weeks and the energy has been back. And now I'm back! :)

Oh wow, that is soooooo awesome, congrats!!! I did wonder where you were, but now it all makes sense! Love your layouts (the photo in the 2nd is so gorgeous!) and your bright cards (I think that EP paper line is some of my favorite, I'm down to tiny scraps!) Hope to see more now that your energy is back to normal, especially some pregnancy layouts with a big round b-ball belly! Hugs, Roxy.

Gaining weight is never any trouble, but losing weight can be a struggle. Phen375, or Phentemine375, is the newest breakthrough in weight loss. It has been estimated that while one third of the US adult population is obese (greater than 30 pounds over a healthy weight); almost 70% of the adult population is over weight (one to 29 pounds over a healthy weight). This means only 30% of the population is actually close to their ideal weight! Sadly our kids aren't fairing much better. The obesity rate in children is around 20%. This isn't changing much either because of the habits of most kids parents. Fat adults have fat kids. Like begets like. The Different Faces of Phentermine
